As Pieced Together By Me

Today’s women, and more specifically, today’s moms are expected to be so many things.  And I think we’re living in a time that, while it may seem overwhelming at times, it’s truly what WE want.

I started Sentence Fragments in 2015, hoping to keep my mind fresh and to have something tangible to go to and say “hey, I did THIS, right here!  Look at it, tell me how wonderful I am!”  As a working mom of two girls, it’s very hard to find time for “hobbies,” or just to relax.

Sentence Fragments is the slow, sometimes crawl-speed piecing together of myself through reading, writing, learning, creating, experimenting and getting ideas from others.  It’s me working through difficult life situations by putting it into words.  It’s me sharing the frustrations and insanely proud moments of being a mom through pictures and anecdotes.  It’s me trying (sometimes desperately) to run a household by finding and sharing shortcuts.

Most of all, Sentence Fragments is me having fun with figuring it all out.  Oh yes, and wine.  Definitely wine.  I’ll admit it, even nearing 40, this shit is confusing!   I hope it isn’t lost on you that SF’s logo is a puzzle.  Such is life, my friends!
